Very Good: Publisher’s original cloth binding shows minimal wear with light bumping to corners and rubbing to the spine; boards clean, with gilt-tooled decoration on green cloth bright and vibrant. Binding slightly shaken but holding firm. Surface scuffs and sticker residue present to the front pastedown, with previous owner’s inscription noted. Title page bears marks and a small tear. Internally, contents show light handling wear including small dog-ears, light creasing, and scattered foxing; nevertheless, pages remain clean and tidy overall. Illustrations remain clean and unblemished. A sound and attractive copy.
