Condition Report: Near Fine. The book has been exquisitely bound in half brown morocco leather over nonpareil marbled boards. The binding is exceptionally tight and secure, exhibiting virtually no shelf-wear to the extremities and boasting pristine board surfaces. The spine, featuring five raised bands and brilliantly unoxidised gilt tooling in the compartments, remains rich in color and unrubbed. The top edge is brightly gilt, while the fore and bottom edges remain traditionally deckled. Internally, the text block is commendably clean; the pages are bright with only the faintest marginal toning, remaining entirely free from significant blemishes. A superlative, highly attractive copy.
