The brown quarter-cloth spine remains entirely intact and robust, displaying no fraying or splits, and holds the text block securely. Internally, the pages exhibit light, age-appropriate toning and faint, intermittent spots of foxing, though the vibrant chromolithograph plates and in-text line drawings remain beautifully bright and free from any disruptive tears or heavy creasing.
