Condition Report: Good. The original green cloth binding remains fundamentally intact and structurally sound, though it exhibits moderate wear typical with its age. The front board bears a prominent, dark liquid stain toward the lower edge, alongside general rubbing and mild discolouration to the cloth. The corners are bumped and slightly frayed, and the dark cloth spine extremities show light wear and minor fraying. Internally, the text block is secure. The plates display scattered foxing and age-toning, which is primarily restricted to the margins and does not significantly impede the visual impact of the etched illustrations.
