Condition Report: Good. The original blind-stamped blue cloth binding remains reasonably tight and structurally sound, though it exhibits noticeable signs of handling and age, including moderate rubbing and surface scratching to the front and rear boards. The spine is heavily sunned, resulting in a dull grey hue that entirely obscures the original gilt titling, accompanied by considerable chipping and fraying at both the head and tail, with a minor loss of cloth at the tail's base. The text block is firm, but displays severe and pervasive foxing along the untrimmed deckled edges, which encroaches noticeably upon the preliminary leaves and margins throughout the volume.
