Very Good: Publisher’s original binding shows minimal wear, with bumping to corners and light rubbing at the head and foot of the spine. Boards clean, with decorative artwork remaining bright and vibrant. Binding tight and square. Internally, pages show mild handling with light scattered foxing present; otherwise clean and tidy throughout. Illustrations remain clear and unblemished. Contemporary newspaper clippings dated August 21, 1942 loosely inserted. A sound and well-preserved copy.
