Condition Report: Very Good. The original green cloth binding remains sharp and bright, with firm corners and unbumped spine ends, demonstrating no significant shelf-wear and maintaining a tight, square text block. The text block edges show light, age-related toning and minor foxing to the top edge, typical of the paper stock used during this era, but the internal pages are notably clean, bright, and free of inscriptions. The original Broom Lynne-designed dust jacket is unclipped, retaining the '16s.' price to the lower front flap. It exhibits light rubbing and minor creasing to the spine ends and extremities, alongside some faint darkening and mild handling soiling to the rear white panel, but presents exceptionally well as a fully intact and highly attractive example.
