Condition Report: Fine. The binding remains remarkably tight and square, featuring crisp, unbumped corners and no discernible shelf-wear to the edges of the boards. The red buckram spine and gilt-lettered front label are bright, entirely unfaded, and well-protected by a clear acetate wrapper. Internally, the book is pristine; the high-quality mould-made Zerkall paper is free from foxing, toning, or creases, offering a brilliantly clean and well-preserved text block. The Rackenmarmor hand-marbled paper over the boards retains its vibrant, unrubbed colour. A beautiful, exceptionally well-cared-for copy that presents as new.

Catalogue Note: This is the handsome 1987 fine press edition published by The Folio Press, a highly regarded imprint of the Folio Society known for its exceptional production values. The text, set in elegant Caslon and Castellar display types, was masterfully printed letterpress by Napier, Jones Ltd on acid-free Zerkall Rough Antique Laid mould-made paper.
