Condition Report: Near Fine. This copy is bound in the publisher's original brown cloth and presents exceptionally well. The binding remains notably tight and square, lacking any structural lean or weakness at the hinges. The cloth boards are clean, showing no significant shelf-wear, bumping to the corners, or rubbing to the extremities. Crucially, the gilt titling along the spine is remarkably bright and entirely unoxidised. Internally, the text block is pristine; the pages are bright, crisp, and entirely free from foxing, moisture damage, or previous ownership signatures. A remarkably well-preserved example that shows little to no signs of active use.
