Condition Report: Very Good. Bound in contemporary full calf, the boards showcase a mottled patina with an elegant double-gilt border. The binding remains notably tight and structurally sound, though there is general rubbing to the boards and slight wear to the extremities. The spine is beautifully decorated with gilt floral motifs across five compartments, complemented by a contrasting dark morocco label that remains entirely legible. The inner turn-ins feature delicate gilt dentelles, and all edges are gilt, maintaining a pleasing brightness. Internally, the visible pages are notably clean and bright with no significant signs of oxidation, heavy foxing, or loose gatherings.
