Condition Report Near Fine. This copy presents exceptionally well in its original grey and black marbled cloth binding, with the spine's green oval label and gilt lettering remaining notably bright and unrubbed. The boards are sharp and tight, devoid of any significant shelf-wear or bumping to the corners, aided by the protection of a clear Mylar wrapper. The top edge retains its green stain, while the uncut fore-edge and bottom edge exhibit only slight, natural toning consistent with the paper stock. Internally, the pages are crisp, clean, and free from foxing, though there is a trace of expected faint offsetting to the endpapers. The hinges are sound and the text block is square, making this a remarkably well-preserved, handsome example.
