Condition Report: Good. The half-leather binding over cloth boards remains entirely sound but displays notable exterior wear, including scuffing and rubbing to the leather corners and spine joints. There is minor chipping and loss to the upper and lower extremities of the spine, with the gilt spine tooling slightly dulled but legible. The boards show typical shelf-wear, edge chafing, and surface marking. Internally, the binding is secure. The endpapers exhibit rather heavy foxing and tanning, while the preliminary leaves and text block remain predominantly clean, showing only occasional, light handling marks or isolated spotting.
