Condition Report: Fine. The book presents impeccably with a tight, unread binding and remarkably sharp corners that show no evidence of shelf-wear. The pale green cloth boards are strikingly clean, and the intricate silver and dark blue blocking by Paul Cox remains perfectly bright and unoxidised. Internally, the Mori Silk paper is pristine, with completely unblemished, crisp pages and brilliantly white text block edges. The accompanying blue slipcase is in Near Fine condition, structurally sound with only the most trivial hints of microscopic rubbing to the extremities.

Catalogue Note: This is the seventh printing of this highly acclaimed illustrated edition. It was published to follow the text of the 1989 Pavilion release, which originally celebrated the novel's centenary.
