Condition Report: Near Fine. The original black cloth boards remain firm and square, presenting sharp corners and brilliant, unoxidised gilt lettering to the spine. The binding is remarkably tight. Internally, the text block is clean and free from previous ownership inscriptions, exhibiting only the lightest uniform age-toning to the page margins, which is customary for the paper stock of this era, alongside a touch of faint dust-dulling to the top edge. The original, unclipped dust jacket is well-preserved; it retains its crisp colours without any spine fading. It exhibits some minor handling wear, superficial smudging to the white rear panel, and very faint rubbing to the extremities, but remains entirely free from tears, chips, or significant creasing. A highly presentable, square copy.
