Condition Report: Near Fine (Very Good dust jacket). The dark blue cloth binding is exceptionally clean and firm, with the gilt spine lettering remaining bright and wholly unoxidised. It shows only the most microscopic hint of rubbing to the extreme spine tips. Internally, the text block is sound, bright, and tightly bound, presenting entirely free from foxing or previous ownership signatures; there is only a uniform, mild age-toning to the page edges, which is characteristic of the paper stock from this era. The accompanying unclipped dust jacket (retaining the original £9.95 net price) remains vibrant and fully intact. However, it does exhibit light surface rubbing and minor edge-creasing, most notably along the top edge of the front panel and at the head of the spine.
