The original publisher's green cloth binding is remarkably well-preserved with clean boards, though the extremities display slight bumping and minor shelf-wear typical of its age. The spine remains tight and square with perfectly legible black lettering. Internally, the text block edges are tanned and display moderate foxing, which occasionally permeates into the extreme margins of the otherwise bright pages. A faint previous ownership signature is present in pencil to the front endpaper. The binding remains entirely firm and sound throughout.
