The binding remains structurally secure and tight, with only mild rubbing to the extremities, light surface soiling, and slightly bumped corners. The spine is fully intact with clear, unfaded lettering. It is presently housed in a removable, clear protective sleeve. Internally, the book is complete, though the paper stock exhibits moderate to heavy foxing throughout, which is a typical aging characteristic for this publication. Crucially, the tipped-in colour plates, including 'The Black Bryony Fairy,' remain bright, securely affixed, and largely undisturbed by the spotting. An appealing, sound copy overall.
