Condition Report: Very Good. The book is bound in original quarter blue cloth over grey paper boards, now housed in a protective clear sleeve. While the binding remains structurally tight and square, the external boards exhibit generalised surface scuffing and moderate edge-wear. The front board's pictorial onlay retains its vibrant colour but suffers from a chip and loss to the bottom right corner, obscuring part of the "Spindle Berry Fairy" caption. Internally, the preliminary leaves and endpapers present with scattered foxing that occasionally intrudes onto the text block margins. However, the internal pages remain largely supple, and all twelve tipped-in colour plates are entirely intact, clean, and beautifully preserved.
