Condition Report: Very Good. The green cloth binding is remarkably tight and square, remaining exceptionally bright with sharp, unbumped corners. Internally, the text block is clean and firmly bound, with the hinges sound and pages entirely free of foxing, though exhibiting some mild, expected dusting to the top edge. The front free endpaper bears a neat, contemporary ink gift inscription dated Christmas 1963. The original illustrated dust wrapper, featuring Leslie Stead's artwork, presents beautifully; it is price-clipped at the front flap and shows only minor rubbing to the extremities alongside faint toning to the rear panel, remaining a highly attractive and intact example.
