Condition Report Very Good. The publisher’s original blue cloth binding remains tight and square, displaying bright, unoxidised gilt titling to the spine and sharp corners with only minimal rubbing to the extremities. Internally, the text block is sound and the pages are remarkably clean, exhibiting only the faint, uniform age-toning entirely typical of mid-century paper stock, with no invasive foxing or structural weaknesses. The unclipped dust wrapper, retaining its original 12s. 6d. net pricing, presents well within a protective sleeve but exhibits moderate signs of shelf-wear, most notably some surface grubbiness to the rear panel and minor chipping and nicks along the upper and lower edges, including a small localised loss to the head of the rear hinge.
