Condition Report: Very Good. The book is presented in its original publisher's plain lilac card wrappers, which remain structurally sound but exhibit a slight outward curl to the front cover and very light shelf-wear to the extreme edges and corners, typical of these fragile pre-publication formats. The binding is remarkably tight and completely uncreased along the spine, suggesting the book is unread. Internally, the untrimmed pages are crisp, uniformly bright, and devoid of any foxing, tearing, or previous ownership inscriptions, resulting in a thoroughly clean and well-preserved text block that confidently justifies the grade.

Catalogue Note: This is a scarce, unillustrated "Uncorrected Book Proof" (advance reading copy) of Terry Pratchett's twenty-first Discworld novel, Jingo, preceding the first commercial hardback release. Due to the ephemeral nature of publisher's proofs and their utilitarian softcover bindings, they rarely survive the rigours of the publishing trade in a clean, unread condition.
