Condition Report: Very Good. This uncorrected proof copy is well-preserved in its original publisher's card wrappers. The binding remains remarkably tight and perfectly square, exhibiting no creases along the spine, which strongly suggests the volume has remained unread. The white wrappers are largely clean and bright, showing only light, superficial shelf-wear and slight rubbing to the extremities, along with a very faint upward curl to the front cover's top corner. The text block edges remain tidy, presenting only the faintest hint of the mild toning that is typical for the economical paper stock used in advance proofs of this era. Internally, the leaves are crisp, entirely free of foxing, and without any significant blemishes or annotations. A highly presentable example of a fragile, pre-publication format.
