Condition Report: Good. The book presents a clean and bright internal text block, with pages remaining largely free from foxing or significant wear, though the outer page edges exhibit mild, expected age-toning. However, the external blue cloth binding has suffered significant surface loss and wear along the bottom tail of the spine and the lower edges of the rear board, indicative of historic insect or damp damage, which has exposed the underlying board in these areas. The original unclipped dust jacket (priced 21s. net) has been preserved in a protective sleeve and presents very well externally; it shows some rubbing, minor edge-wear, and internal damp staining to the flaps that mirrors the location of the binding damage at the lower extremities, but it remains bright and intact overall.
