Condition Report: Near Fine. This copy is securely bound in a superb full crushed maroon morocco, remaining remarkably bright and supple to the touch. The gilt crest on the front board is sharply struck and entirely unoxidised, while the raised bands and gilt lettering to the spine remain equally brilliant, showing only the most trivial hints of rubbing to the extreme corners and spine ends. The joints are perfectly sound with no signs of starting, and the hinges remain absolutely tight. Internally, the pages are crisp, clean, and unfoxed, perfectly complemented by the rich, vibrant marbled endpapers and elaborate gilt-tooled turn-ins, culminating in a wonderfully preserved example.

Catalogue Note: This 1907 Oxford Edition presents a comprehensive collection of Robert Browning's works, accompanied by a frontispiece portrait of the author, engraved after Field Talfourd, and protected by a tissue guard.
