Condition Report: Fine. The binding is remarkably tight and square, with the quarter oatmeal linen spine and terracotta cloth boards remaining exceptionally clean and bright. The gilt lettering on the spine and the mounted front board label is brilliant and unrubbed, showing no signs of oxidisation. The board corners are perfectly sharp with no bumping or shelf-wear. Internally, the text block is pristine; the heavy Vélin Arches paper is entirely free from foxing, markings, or creases, and the deckled fore- and bottom-edges remain crisp and untanned. A superb, collector-quality example.

Catalogue Note: This is a limited edition printing of only 120 copies, of which this is number 32. It has been signed by both the translator, Henry Wansbrough, and the artist, Rosemary Roberts, on the colophon page. The work features a selection of twenty-four psalms beautifully printed letterpress on high-quality Vélin Arches paper, complemented by Roberts's striking illustrations rendered in terracotta ink. Bound in an elegant quarter cloth with an uncut fore-edge, it stands as an exceptional example of modern British fine press printing.
