Condition Report: Near Fine. The binding remains tightly bound and square, with the blue textured cloth boards bright and the gilt tooling to the spine unoxidised and sharp. The corners are crisp, showing negligible shelf-wear. Internally, the pages are highly clean and free from foxing, exhibiting only a whisper of age-toning to the text block edges. A neat, contemporary previous ownership signature ('eric john alston.') is present to the front free endpaper. The unclipped dust jacket is vibrant and well-preserved, though it exhibits some very faint rubbing and minor creasing to the extreme spine tips and upper edges, presenting beautifully overall.
