Condition Report: Very Good. The binding remains tight and structurally sound, justifying its grade with only small signs of wear, including mild rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. The publisher's original plain boards display some localised foxing and age-toning, most notable as a darkened foxing patch to the upper front board, but present no structural damage. Internally, the text block is securely held and largely clean, with occasional light spotting and foxing primarily restricted to the margins and preliminary leaves. The illustrated dust-jacket fits the 'Good' criteria as a worn, average example; it exhibits general edge-wear, notable chipping and small closed tears to the spine head and tail, alongside general foxing and dust-soiling to the front panel, while the lower corner of the front inner flap has been price-clipped.
