Condition Report: Very Good. The green cloth boards are bright and firmly square, with the gilt tooling on the spine remaining vibrant and unoxidised, save for a gentle push to the spine ends. The binding remains remarkably tight, suggesting the book has seen little, if any, reading wear. The page block exhibits light, even age-toning along the top and fore-edges, but is otherwise entirely clean and free of foxing. The dust jacket is likewise in pleasing condition, bright and unclipped (retaining the original 15s net price), with only minor rubbing to the extremities and slight scuffing to the panels, now preserved in an archival sleeve.
