Condition Report Fair. The original blind-stamped plum cloth binding exhibits significant wear, with the front joint heavily split and fraying along its entire length, resulting in a tender front board. The cloth has faded to a mottled brown tone across the spine and extremities, showing noticeable crushing and fraying to the head and tail of the spine alongside bumping to the corners. Despite the exterior degradation, the gilt titling and intricate wreath motif on the upper board remain legible and relatively bright, as do the all-edges-gilt page margins. Internally, the text block remains generally sound; the engraved frontispiece of Mostyn Street, the title page, and the crucial folding map of Llandudno and its environs are clean and well-preserved, displaying only mild age-toning and very scattered, faint foxing typical of the era. A complete, if externally tired, working copy.
