Condition Report: Near Fine. The dark blue boards are exceptionally clean and sharp, with the gilt tooling on the upper board and spine remaining bright and completely unoxidised. The binding is remarkably tight and square, displaying no discernible shelf-wear, rubbing, or bumping to the corners. Internally, the text block is crisp, bright, and entirely free of foxing or previous ownership marks, with the vibrant pictorial map endpapers fully intact. The original pictorial dust jacket is complete and presents very well, exhibiting only slight age-toning to the spine and extremities alongside faint surface rubbing, with no significant chips, tears, or notable creasing.

Catalogue Note: This is an exceptionally bright, later reprint of the 1973 Methuen Children's Books edition, notable for featuring E. H. Shepard's iconic line drawings brilliantly coloured.

Very Good	The book maintains its structural integrity, and has no major flaws such as tears to its binding or pages.
